## Definition and Usage

The toExponential() method converts the value of the object into an exponential notation.

## Syntax

NumberObject.toExponential(*num*) |

Parameter | Description |

num | Required. Specifies the number of decimal places in the exponential notation |

## Example

In this example we will convert a number to an exponential notation:

Show 10,000 as an exponential notation:
